Sleepers Awake

The Gospel affirms that Jesus defeated evil and death on the cross; but it certainly does not seem that way. Meanwhile, we are exhausted by thousands of years of wars and violence. We are exhausted by hatred and divisiveness. We are exhausted by the fear, stress, and worry.... We have so many reasons to be sleepy, even if we believe that Jesus is Lord.
