Music & Worship
Prince of Peace has one intergenerational worship service every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We include traditional music and liturgy, contemporary music and video, drama, and other innovative forms of worship.
**Children and youth**
During the pandemic, we are inviting all children (and youth) attending in-person worship to remain with their friends or family in the sanctuary during the worship service.
Children 7 and under may participate in planned Sunday School lessons/activities after the “Time With Young Christians” segment at the beginning of the worship service.
The children will be escorted to the classes in the educational wing of the building by the Sunday School teachers.
Prince of Peace streams every Sunday service live, online via Facebook. These services can
be accessed by visiting the Prince of Peace website or if you are a member of Facebook, go to the Prince of Peace Facebook page and watch the live broadcast at 10:30 a.m. (If you are unable to worship live on Sundays, worship videos are recorded and will be available on Facebook.) Sermon manuscripts are available on our website.
Music is an integral part of the worship experience at Prince of Peace. Contact Music Director Suzann Barthold via the church office if you would like to participate in our music program or if you would like more information about the music program at Prince of Peace. You don’t have to be an expert or be a member to join.
Sanctuary Choir: Rehearses on Thursdays, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Bell Choir (Boyles Memorial Ringers): Rehearses on Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Instrumentalists: Our Baroque Ensemble (strings and woodwind) performs occasionally in worship services. Also, individual instrumentalists (both adult and youth) are utilized in our worship services to enhance the worship experience.
Special services are offered during the Holy Seasons. Other special services include: funerals, wholeness services, and weddings. Please contact the church office for more information on these special services.
