Ruth 4:7-12; Heb. 12:1-2


That is why we need to remember the cloud of witnesses today, not simply because it is a comforting idea for the grieving that our loved ones are watching over us, but also because when we are feeling exhausted or defeated, as the Hebrews original audience was, that cloud is there to remind us why we are running and give us the energy to keep going.
