Building for the Common Good

This weekend is dedicated in our nation to celebrating ... the dream upon which our nation was founded, a dream of a society grounded in freedom, equality, and working for the common good. Yet you do not have to be a social scientist to see that in recent years we have been focusing more on ourselves than that common dream.
