We (Trinity Sunday)

Jesus, who was a good Jew, believed as we do that there is only one God. So, there was a period early in the Church when Christians struggled to find language to make more comprehensible the mystery they experienced to be true: God the Creator was and is God the Redeemer, who was and is God the Sustaining Spirit. Our God is one-in-three and three-in-one.
