Advent is the season where we can have a re-set about where we are headed. Advent gives us a lens to see God at work when it seems only evil gets the spotlight. Advent takes us to a celebration of the birth of a baby where the message is that God has secured a future which always breaks into the present. Advent is full of the here and now and also the “not yet” of God’s kingdom.
