Cookies and Conversation - 5 week series with Pastor Elizabeth

“Conversations with God”, a Lenten Class by Pastors Elizabeth and Dottie will be offered on Wednesday evenings starting March 9th - April 6th. Cookies and fellowship begin at 6:15 pm and class will be held from 6:30-7:30 pm (bell rehearsal to follow). Classes will be in-person in the Fellowship Hall with a Zoom option. In-person participants must mask regardless of vaccination status. There will not be childcare during this class. Even if you cannot attend all classes, register with the church office at church.office@popchurch.org and indicate whether you are participating in-person or by zoom.

*Scripture assures us that our relationship with God is one of dialogue, not unanswered monologue. But many struggle to hear God’s word in their lives. In this 5-week class, we will seek to “tune in” better by exploring what we can learn from some of the famous conversations between God and human beings recorded in the Bible. We will also join in the conversation by practicing our own listening, lamenting, praising, and dreaming. Come, deepen your understanding of and connection with God! All are welcome!
