Living Truth

On this Christ the King Sunday, these are the truths that we affirm, not that we have a belief system which saves us and condemns others, and not that everyone’s take on reality is equally valid or good. We affirm that God loved humanity so much, that God came into this world where monsters dwell to set us free from our enslavement to lies, selfishness, and fear, by showing us something we often forget– that we can live our lives grounded in God’s saving and loving presence and rest secure under God’s reign.
