Advent…and Life in the Wilderness

We make it seem like we have to get rid of the wilderness within us and around us for God to take up residence. But second Isaiah’s prophecy was not contingent on anything. That is what made it good news! God was going to be with the people and lead them into freedom and no one was going to stop him.
