Our Church:

What characterizes Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church?

Our congregation is made up of people from all walks of life and every stage of faith. We consider ourselves welcoming to anyone in need and enthusiastically embrace Christ and each other. We actively celebrate God’s love for all of us and seek to serve God by sharing our faith and helping others.

What is our Mission?

To follow Jesus and serve those in need.

How to we serve those in need?

Currently the church opens its doors to any community group in need of a meeting place and encourages the general community to make use of our facility. Through community service to any of our many adopted charity organizations, community programs, and small groups, our members reach out to the community individually as well as a congregation to improve the world around us.

What are our Core Values?

  1. To serve both Christians and non-Christians through the use of spiritual gifts.
  2. Challenging ourselves in a personal relationship with God to be the person He intended.
  3. Worshipping regularly with other Christians.
  4. Participating in small groups of Christian community.
  5. Sharing the good news of Jesus with those who do not yet believe.

What denomination is Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church?

Our church is part of Presbyterian Church (USA). The Presbyterian Church (USA) has approximately 2.5 million members, 11,200 congregations and 21,000 ordained ministers. Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century and the Protestant Reformation. Our heritage and much of what we believe began with the French lawyer John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of the Reformed thinking that came before him.
