Heifer’s mission is… to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and to care for the earth. Heifer's strategy is… to “pass on the gift.” As people share their animals’ offspring with others – along with their knowledge, resources, and skills – an expanding network of hope, dignity, and self-reliance is created that reaches around the globe.

Habitat for Humanity:

Founded as a Christian housing ministry in 1976, Habitat for Humanity is driven by a desire to put faith into action. We believe each house built or renovated by Habitat for Humanity serves as a vehicle for witnessing God’s love. Prince of Peace works along with the home owners on Habitat homes once a month to build a home and a future.
