Prince of Peace Church, located at 1657 Crofton Pkwy, offers Sunday school classes for all members, not just young children.
Children are never too young to learn about the wondrous book, the Bible. In this class, children will focus on a different Bible story or Bible topic each month. Throughout the month multisensory lessons will include:
arts and crafts
songs
dance
puppet shows
games
cooking
and other fun activities.
*A communion workshop is offered for all 2nd graders each October
*A Bible Presentation is made to 3rd graders each October
Topical issues/Bible themes for youth are presented each month.
*Confirmation Classes are offered for 8th graders beginning each January
The Feasting on the Word Lectionary series is utilized to help them better understand the week's sermon.
*Middle and high school students are encouraged to take part in Mission Sunday, the last Sunday of the month, to live out God's word by doing.
Adults are invited to participate in The Feasting On the Word lectionary series each week which is a great prelude to listening to the weekly sermon.
*Special studies are announced via the church bulletin or church newsletter, The Church Mouse
*An annual women's retreat is held in May
Youth group meetings are posted on the bulletin in the narthex as well as listed in the bulletin and church newsletter, The Church Mouse.
Meetings are typically held on Sunday evenings at church.
Friends of teens are always welcome to join us for our youth group events.
